  1. Im a truck driver and I am in no way perfect with it, but my reusable cups and mugs save me so much money. One truck stop brand almost always gives me free drinks coffee/ soda/ tea in reusable mugs but even the ones that don’t, do offer a huge discount on coffee and fountain drinks, ice and water are almost always free in my own cup. Ive even refilled empty gallon size jugs of water for free. It probably saves me 5-10 dollars a work day. Two bottles of water at a truck stop is 3-5 dollars depending on size and brand I usually would drink at least 2 bottles worth plus coffee. My reusable cups also stay hot or cold so much longer. Ive had double walled cups and bottles keep Ice to the next day.

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this but great quality acetone and Styrofoam make a good semiflexible resin for small mold like dollar store Icecube trays. I’m making my neighbors in the elderly home I live in magnets to bring in summer for them. Most Styrofoam comes in meat or egg packages but the color conversions are quite easy to remember: yellow= orange, blue=green, white=white and black=black unless mixed with a lot of white. You’re going to have to knead out the bubble in it which takes forever but you’ll have a cute little decoration for yourself or others.
Also wash off to the best of your ability grease, grime and dirt to make it work properly.

  3. I used old towels and flannel shirts to make myself reusable pads, basically for the cost of thread.
